Johanna Shallenberger joined Sandberg Phoenix as an Associate and is part of our Business practice group. She brings vast experience handling public finance, real estate, and construction law matters for clients including education clients, cities/counties/political subdivisions/private businesses alike – always remaining focused on helping her clients manage through any complexity related to these issues.

Real Estate

Johanna Shallenberger provides bond counsel services to both public entities such as cities and counties as well as political subdivisions; as well as providing real estate and construction law advice to private businesses. She prides herself in assisting her clients navigate the complexities associated with public finance transactions as well as real estate and construction deals. Johanna is also an active member of Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce where she recently graduated from Leadership Chesterfield – an educational program which brings business professionals together in strengthening local economies through collaborative leadership programs like this one.

Construction Law

Johanna Shallenberger joined Sandberg Phoenix as an associate and is part of their business practice group. With extensive experience handling complex public finance, real estate, and construction law matters relating to education clients, cities/counties/political subdivisions/private businesses as well as individuals; Johanna represents them all effectively.

She holds degrees from Washington University School of Law and Olin Business School, is admitted to practice law in Missouri, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Association.

Public Finance

Johanna Shallenberger has made an extraordinary difference to how governments approach their finances. Through her expertise in legal matters and financial regulations, Johanna has assisted governments with creating policies that foster transparency, accountability and sustainable practices – streamlining budgetary processes while creating robust reporting mechanisms.

Debt management is another crucial aspect of government finance, and Johanna assists governments with creating effective strategies to do just that while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Additionally, she explores innovative revenue generation methods while improving existing taxation systems.

Johanna has over two decades of experience assisting her clients with complex legal matters. She possesses expertise in real estate, business law and construction law – representing education clients, cities, counties and political subdivisions as well as private businesses. Johanna joined Sandberg Phoenix’s Business practice group in 2018 where she specializes in public finance real estate construction matters.

Johanna Shallenberger is a member of our Business Practice Group and brings extensive experience handling public finance, real estate and construction law matters for education clients, cities, counties, political subdivisions, private businesses and individuals.

Johanna graduated from Washington University School of Law and Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis with both degrees in business. Additionally, Johanna is a member of Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce where she participated in its Leadership Chesterfield class.

She has been honored as one of 2019’s Rising Stars by being chosen through an extensive evaluation process which takes into account peer recognition, professional achievement in legal practice and other pertinent factors.
